JIS HSSE‑Co5% Spiral Flute Form C Machine Tap is a high‑performance machine tap optimized for blind‑hole threading. Made of HSSE‑Co5% (5% cobalt high‑speed steel), the material greatly improves red‑hardness and heat resistance under continuous cutting conditions. Black oxide surface finishing improves lubricant wettability, reduces friction and inhibits built‑up edge during tapping. The Form‑C spiral flute lifts chips backward out of blind holes to avoid chip accumulation at hole bottom, preventing tap breakage and thread damage.

Key Features
✅ HSSE‑Co5% Cobalt Steel Material: Outstanding red‑hardness and wear‑resistance, suitable for stainless steel and tough alloy tapping
✅ Spiral Flute Form‑C Geometry: Backward chip removal, prevents chip packing inside blind holes
✅ Black Oxide Finishing: Better oil retention, reduces friction, minimizes workpiece material adhesion to cutting edges
✅ JIS Standard Dimension: Stable thread precision and consistent cutting performance
✅ Square Drive Shank: Fits most CNC and machine tap holders for automated tapping
Application Scenarios
Designed for CNC machine tapping and mass‑production workshop. Excellent performance for stainless steel, alloy steel and other heat‑resistant ferrous metals. Primarily for blind‑hole threading. Not recommended for through‑hole applications; spiral‑point taps are the preferred option for through holes.
Usage Note
Ample cutting fluid is strongly recommended during tapping, especially for stainless‑steel processing, to lower cutting temperature and extend tap service life.
